M3i is a high-end gym quality standards bike and gives you the experience of outdoor cycling.  The bike is great in terms of design, comfort, and adjustability. • Tracking your workout: If you are the kind who loves to keep a track of your workout data, you will love the new Bluetooth technology that helps you connect the M3i to your smartphone. You can calculate your heart rate (Polar brand monitors), calories burnt and RPM.
  • Low noise: Unlike most indoor cycling machine the M3i is smooth and an almost noiseless bike.
  • Lightweight: The M3i has two front transport wheels and weighs only 85 lbs, which makes it comparatively easier to move.
  • Handlebar adjustment: The 4-way handlebar helps make fore and aft adjustments conveniently.

  • A lot of users have faced issues with the Bluetooth technology and tracking of their workout data.

  • Keiser bikes have rightly enhanced the experience of indoor riders in the past 20 years. Sole Fitness SB700 Exercise Bike

Manufacturer Sole
Price Click here to check the lowest price for Sole Fitness SB700 Exercise Bike
Pros Lifetime warranty of the frame, ergonomic padded saddle, 48lbs flywheel
Cons Heavy body frame, battery powered computer display
Final Verdict SB 700 provides great value for money as its priced way lesser compared to other high-end bikes like Keiser M3i, make sure you have dedicated space for the bike, as due to its heavy frame you can’t move it often.
Rating 4.1/5

If you are the kind who likes a strong and herculean machine, then SB 700 is a great buy. With a 48lbs flywheel, the bike is heavy and needs its dedicated space as moving it around is difficult. The bike has a comfortable, resilience foam seat with vinyl cover. The bike is a winner for me as it gives an almost outdoor ride like experience at a price way lesser than that of Keiser bikes. The bike can take a weight of up to 300 lbs. Sole Fitness SB700 Exercise Bike

Product features:

  • Height: 1030 mm
  • Width: 540 mm
  • Length: 1070 mm
  • Weight: 64kg / 141lbs

Why we love the Sole Fitness SB700:

  • Strong built: SB700 is one of the heaviest spin bikes in its price range, almost double the weight of a Keiser M3i. I love the strong body as I can almost stand on the pedal and it does not flex.
  • Assembly: Most riders take less than 20 minutes to assemble the bike as it comes partly assembled already.
  • Tracking: You can track your workout data like heart rate, RPM, kcal on the integrated console and it is also compatible with a wireless chest strap.
  • Sleek: Even though the bike is heavy, it has a pretty sleek body and will not take up much space of your house.
  • Seat and Handlebar: The bike has a comfortable, resilience foam seat with vinyl cover, and adjustable fore and aft handlebar.
  • Resistance: The brake gives fine levels of resistance with an approximately quarter and eighth of rotations from the first point of contact.

Why it might not be your best buy:

  • Some riders find the display not up to the mark as it is battery powered. Though if you need it just for RPM and timing yourself, this is not much of a concern.
  • The handlebars don’t go very high, but this is not much of an issue if your height is less than 6’5.

Final thoughts:

  • SB 700 is a great deal for the features it has at the price. It gives a rock solid ride feel due to its heavy flywheel. The bike’s compact body makes it a good choice for you if you have a space constraint. The customer service experience has been great so far and it’s an absolute steal if you like an outdoor ride like experience.

Manufacturer Sunny Health & Fitness
Price Click here to check the lowest price for the SF B901 Pro Indoor Cycling Bike
Pros Affordable price, 40-pound Flywheel, transport wheels, easy installation
Cons No computer console, noise
Final Verdict SF B901 is a perfect choice if you have a limited budget and like a mechanical bike without computer console and other tracking features.
Rating 3.8/5

The SF B901 Pro is an excellent choice for riders who are on a budget. The bike has a rock solid 40-pound flywheel with smooth chain drive mechanism. Unlike the high-end Keiser M3i and Sole Fitness SB700 the bike comes without computer console features. The bike is a total winner for its transport wheels if you like to move around your bike. SF B901 has a heavy-duty crank system that requires minimal maintenance and gives a solid feel when you ride. Sunny Health Fitness B901 Pro Indoor Cycling Bike

Product features:

  • Height: 46.5 inches
  • Width: 20 inches
  • Length: 48.5 inches
  • Weight: 97 lbs

Why we love the Sunny Health & Fitness B901 Pro:

  • Price: SF B901 gives most high-end spin bikes a run for their money. The bike has high-quality heavy duty body frame at a price less than half of other high-end bikes.
  • Sturdy: The 40-pound flywheel makes the ride extremely smooth and herculean. It gives you an almost outdoor ride feel even if you are working out on low or no resistance.
  • Assembly: Most riders take less than 30 minutes to assemble the bike as it is more mechanical in nature.
  • Body: SF B901 is a simple mechanical bike, with no electronically controlled switches and hence has longer durability as well as lower chances of a malfunction. The heavy duty frame is a great deal for the price of the bike, as most bikes in this range, and in fact, even high-end ones, don’t use such high-quality body frame.
  • Seat and handlebars: The bike comes with adjustable handlebars and leather padded seat, but like all bikes you need time to adjust with the seating. Buying a gel cover is always an option for a rather comfortable workout.
  • Mobility: The bike comes with a transportation wheel. You can move the bike around very easily by simply holding it by the handlebars and tilting it forward.
  • Resistance: The resistance level can be changed by a simple tension knob, which actuates the brake caliper with 2 short cables that causes the brake pad on each side of the flywheel to move towards or away from it.

Why it might not be your best buy:

  • No computer console: The bike does not come with fancy computer console and tracking features to monitor your workout, but you can simply buy an external heart monitor gadget for that.
  • Noise: Due to the chain drive system the bike makes a little clanking noise is not completely silent but this can be easily reduced by maintaining the tension of the chain.

Final thoughts:

  • SF B901 is a great bike at the price it comes. If you are not much into fancy electronic bikes and love a rock solid ride with great resistance levels, then this spin bike is the perfect choice for your workout.

Pros 6 magnet brake system, can be upgraded to carbon blue belt drive, low maintenance
Cons Expensive, doesn’t come with a computer console
Final Verdict The bike is competing with Keiser M3i in the high-end bikes, the Schwinn has kept its word of authentic cycling experience with a rock solid body and resistance levels
Rating 4.9/5

The Schwinn “Authentic Cycling” sport indoor trainer is easily one of the best spin bikes available in the market. The bike along with Keiser M3i spoils riders with great options in the high-end spin bike range. The bike uses a 6 magnet brake system and an aluminum disk to generate resistance and works great if you are up for a really challenging workout. The stainless steel body with a silver color looks great to the eyes as well. The original Schwinn comes with a chain drive system which works great, but you can further choose to upgrade to a carbon blue belt drive for $500. The carbon blue drive gives you a smoother and quieter experience. It also has a longer life and less maintenance cost due to its core carbon fiber. Schwinn A.C. Sport Indoor Cycle Trainer

Product features:

  • Height: 48 inches
  • Width: 20 inches
  • Length: 43 inches
  • Weight: 126 lbs

Why we love the Schwinn A.C. Sport Indoor Cycle Trainer:

  • Body: The galvanized steel body along with an extra flywheel increase the resistance levels just like riding on a hill. The bike has comfortable dual density saddle along with three position adjustable handle bars. The SPD toe clip pedals along with safety release system which gives an on-demand coasting that adds to the rider’s experience.
  • Magnetic resistance: Schwinn has further enhanced the magnetic resistance system with its 6 magnet brake system that gives an experience of outdoor ride.
  • Maintenance and Noise: Due to the chain drive system the bike has next to zero maintenance cost and you can experience almost zero noise if you put an earphones or stereo on.
  • Easy assembly: The bike is 80% assembled and can be completely assembled in under an hour. You might take 15-20 minutes to adjust the handle bars but rest of the parts are easily assembled.
  • Warranty: 2 years

Why it might not be your best buy:

  • Price: The bike is one of the most expensive in the market and is a viable investment only if you are serious about your workout.
  • Tracking: The bike, unlike Keiser M3i, doesn’t come with a stand computer console but you can simply buy an MPower console to track your heart rate, RPM and calories burnt.

Final thoughts:

  • The Schwinn A.C. Sport provides for a great user experience with its enhanced resistance levels and the new carbon drive belt but is worth the investment only for riders who are looking to raise the bar of their fitness level. The rock solid built of the bike along with an extra flywheel is one of the best the market has seen.

Pros 49 lbs flywheel, chain drive system, great price
Cons Squeaky resistance pad, no computer console
Final Verdict The bike gives a rock solid ride experience and gives its competitor in higher price range a run for their money
Rating 4.4/5

With a 49 lbs chromed flywheel, SF-B1002 is one of the sturdiest bikes available in the market. The bike uses belt drive system instead of a chain drive, which provides a smoother ride and quieter experience. The trademark red and gray frame of the bike makes it a visual delight as well. The bike can comfortably be used by rider under 275 lbs. Since the bike is available at a great price you can invest in buying more gears like Shimano pedals, a Peloton app, a bike mat and a wireless computer in about $ 150 more. Sunny Health Fitness SF B1002 Indoor Cycle Trainer 49 lb. Flywheel

  • Width: 35 inches
  • Length: 41 inches
  • Weight: 126 lbs

Why we love the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1002 Indoor Cycle Trainer – 49 lb. Flywheel:

  • Belt drive mechanism: The bike uses belt driven mechanism which provides for a smooth and quiet experience.
  • Body: The bike has a fully adjustable up and down handle bar. The saddle can be adjusted up and down as well as fore and aft. In addition to that, I like the top press down brake system over the clamp alternative.
  • Rock Solid Frame: A lot of riders usually feel that indoor bikes are shaky and unstable but with a 49lbs flywheel this bike is rock solid.
  • Assembly: You can easily assemble the bike is less than 30 minutes.
