Riding the wave of farm-fresh ingredients, another restaurant is open in Mahalaxmi. A farm-to-fork concept restaurant, Masque sources farm vegetables from all over the country. Instead of an a la carte menu, they offer a six- or nine-course vegetarian meal, depending on one’s dietary preferences.
The restaurant will have rotating seasonal menus instead of packaged foods. They claim that all exotic vegetables are also homegrown. However, don’t hop there on a Monday to get rid of the week’s woes. You’ll find their shutters closed.
Of the several dishes on the menu, the most anticipated ones are Sago Dim Sum with Herb Broth, Sundried Tomato Pesto Pillow with Burrata and Cheddar Parmiere with Truffle Mushroom.
As for drinks, Masque lets you create your own masterpiece, and recommend to others, which will then be added to their dynamic menu. Besides, the menu also features signature cocktails inspired by Ayurveda.
This restaurant was started by Aditi Dugar and Chef Prateek Sadhu. While Aditi runs high-end catering service Sage & Saffron, Chef Prateek is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. He has also interned at famous restaurants including Alinea, Chicago, Noma, Copenhagen and Le Bernardin, New York.
