The Siddhivinayak Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha is located here, at the intersection of Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg and S.K.Bole Marg. The old temple came up in 1801. The idol is carved out a single black stone. Over the years, the temple has become a must-visit spot for both tourist believers, with people often walking barefoot from far away, as a mark of devotion, especially for the aarti on Tuesday mornings. It is considered to be among the richest temples in India.
