Shiju Radhakrishnan, iTraveller.com
Having graduated from Kerala University and completed his MBA from SPJIMR, Mr. Shiju has worked on automation and ERP platforms like Oracle Supply chain and has had rich experience in consulting and manufacturing. He currently runs a startup called iTraveller, which offers tech-enabled holiday packages, where end users are directly interfaced with native destination supplies, which cuts across all middlemen and hence offers the best possible prices. It features more than 35 travel destinations across the globe and 110 native destination suppliers.

Kailash Nichani, Glassic
If you’re the kind of person who likes changing their spectacle frames to match their outfit, but can’t afford it- you’d love Glassic! Kailash Nichani and his brother Devesh, started Glassic to cater to the specific problem of the eyewear industry being too expensive. They took matters into their own hands and fabricated the designs in-house to reduce the cost. Also, they launched a Virtual mock-up tool, where you can demo the spectacles on your laptop to see how it looks!
Anuj Agarwal, LetsDoc
A DCE/SPJIMR grad has been making waves in the healthcare industry. His name is Anuj Agarwal and he is a man on a mission. There is a rising trend in Indians to succumb to chronic diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and other common deficiencies. LetsDoc gives you online consultations that are hassle free and easy. Those blood report checks just got easier!
Nitin Gupta, Anurag Aggarwal and Amit Kumar Sharma, Khojguru
Khojguru was founded in the year 2007 and it currently acts as a pioneer in offering coupons online. It provides discount coupons for radical city retailers. The different verticals covered under the coupon scheme include flowers, wellness, entertainment, beauty, accessories, electronics, and books among others. This venture is in one of the niche market segments online, and is bound to do well!

My Daily Meal, founded in the year 2016 proposes a solution to provide quick nutrition in today’s fast paced life. After a year of research, they’ve formulated meal replacement shakes that completely replace food! Now you can carry your lunch anywhere you go!
Aditya N Vermani, Clairviz
Founded by Aditya N Vermani, a 2009 SPJIMR graduate, ClairViz deals with providing cutting edge technological solutions to manufacturing firms. ClairViz aims to create smart factories harnessing the effectiveness of trending Big data, IoT analytics and cloud services. The firm has great expectations from the automation idea of the end to end functioning process of factories.
Sachin Parikh, Easy Roads, White Collar Hippie
Sachin Parikh (batch of 2006) founded Easy Roads, which is an app that helps people discover, customize, book, and navigate road trips in India. Having worked for Capgemini and Atos across different countries, he took up the entrepreneurship route with his first venture ‘White Collar Hippie’, which is all about creating incredible outdoor off-beat travel experiences.

Prateek Panda, Appknox
An alumni of SPJIMR(batch of 2015), Prateek Panda co-founded Appknox, a mobile security company. He started working on the company while he was pursuing his MBA and was given the flexibility by the institute to work on AppKnox in exchange for certain projects. Appknox is known for its cutting-edge technology that enables businesses to run security analysis on cloud-based emulation engines without having to share any source code. Recently Appknox raised 875,000 Singapore dollars which has set the stage for its rapid expansion.
Madan Padaki, Head Held High
An Engineer from NIE Mysore, Karnataka, and an Alumni of SPJIMR, Mumbai (Batch of 1999), Madan Padaki co-founded a start-up Head Held High which focused on the intersection of social impact, entrepreneurship and education. The start-up provides career options to youth, business access to entrepreneurs and market access to corporates. Along with this, Mr Madan is the founder of Sylvant and MeritTrac which is a pioneer in skills assessment.
Ramki Sankaranarayanan, Prime Focus Technologies
Ramki Sankaranarayan has an IT experience for 18 years. He has served as the CEO of Subex Technologies and as the global head of sales and marketing for product RD services at Tata Elxsi. He is a graduate from Bits Pilani and an MBA from S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. He founded the Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), a technology subsidiary of Prime Focus, the global leader in media and entertainment industry services. PFT works on Media and Entertainment companies like Disney, Warner Bros, 21 st Century Fox etc. Prime Focus is listed in NSE and BSE in India.
Subir Mitra, Freelance Co.
Subir Mitra, an alumnus of PGDSM-MIT03, is the Cofounder and CTO of Freelance Co. It is an online platform that enables senior independent consultants and consulting firms to get discovered by clients across the globe. The platform aims to completely revolutionalize how freelance consultants today search for assignments, engage with clients and execute these assignments. Given the initial response from the freelance consultant community, the Mumbai-based start-up is well on its way. Freelance Co. is backed and incubated by Hunt Partners, one of Asias leading CEO and Executive search firm with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Singapore, and Shanghai. The venture received its first round of funding in December 2015 and started operations in January 2016.

Love paranthas? Well, this alumnus from SPJIMR has vowed to satiate the parantha cravings of all Mumbaikars in the best possible way. Jai Singh Bangas “quick service restaurant” Oye Kiddan offers the most mouth-watering paranthas that are extremely easy on the pocket and are prepared in compliance with hygiene standards.

With their motto of ‘Har Ghar Mein Hum’, Zimmber is a home service aggregator that offers cost-effective handymen services. Founder Amit Kumar, an MBA grad from SPJIMR, wanted to make his wife’s life easier, and that’s how Zimmber was born.

Sameer and Ekta Walzade, Sam and Ekta Sonder Frames
MBA grads from SPJIMR, Sameer and Ekta Walzade not only fell in love and got married after college, but also realized their love for photography through their start-up Sam and Ekta Sonder Frames. Capturing destination weddings all over India and abroad, Sonder Frames promises you a lifetime of memories. Apart from weddings, they offer a range of services such as maternity and baby shoots. Their commercial works also include shoots for Hokey Pokey, among others.
Archish Mathe, Zishta
Alumnus Archish Mathe decided to transform his love for the environment with his start-up Zishta. Although still in its formative stage, Zishta aims to decrease the carbon footprint of urban consumers by tapping into traditional knowledge residing with different communities. The idea is to create a market of environment-friendly goods by integrating artisan communities from the rural areas.
Kailash Nichani, Glassic
SPJIMR alumnus Kailash Nichani, along with his brother Devesh Nichani, began Indias first affordable eyewear start-up Glassic. Offering high-quality chic eyewear that is easy on your pocket, Kailash envisioned a cool yet budget-friendly Indian eyewear brand. With that in mind, they started in-house manufacturing and selling their eyewear online.
Anurag Aggarwal, LetsDoc
Anurag Aggarwal from SPJIMR developed the unique start-up idea of an online health based portal. Thus, LetsDoc was born, India first health management platform that lets you have online doctor consultations, book for medical tests, and more! Some cool stuff, we say.
