How to reach
Located on Godhbunder Highway at Waghbil Naka in Thane, Navi Mumbai, Suraj Water Park is well-connected by both road and rail. The closest railway stations to the amusement park are Thane and Borivalli. From there, take a taxi, auto or bus.
Park timings and entry fees
The park is open from 10 AM to 6 PM. How we wish they were open for longer!
The ticket price for adults is Rs. 800. Tickets for children can be bought for Rs. 650 (height between 3.6 ft and 4.6 ft).
Note: Lockers are available on rent for Rs. 30 (Rs. 100 refundable deposit) for your valuables. In case of loss of locker keys, your money is not refunded, so be careful.
Rides in Suraj Water Park
Suraj Water Park boasts of an attractive decor. Visitors are greeted by 40-foot-tall mermaids at the entrance, which is surrounded by magnificent fountains. A giant Lord Shiva Idol guards the entrance to Asias largest man-made fibre glass cave. A wave pool welcomes you with a wide range of rides like Ulat Pulat, Dhadkan Sab Ke Dil Ki, Serpentine ride, Ding-Dong-Sing-Song swings, Labak, Zabak and Matak, and several other interesting slides.
The tower of Nanha Tal offers 16 safe rides for children. A waterfall named Har Har Gange (a huge statue of Lord Shiva with water flowing out from his locks) is carved out of a rock 82 feet high and 88 feet wide. It can accommodate upto 350 persons (150 on the first floor and 200 in the pond). So much is the force of this man-made waterfall that it circulates 5 lakh litres of water continuously.
In fact, the waterfall is famous for relieving physical and mental stress owing to its aqua pressure principles.
